Passionate About Inspiring Others - Life Is A Journey

Born and raised in Melbourne to hard working Lebanese parents.

Started studying Biomedical Science at Monash University in Clayton then later transferred to Bachelor of Science at University of Melbourne to be closer to home in the northern suburbs. During this time I gained an interest in biochemistry and pharmacology which became my majors, in the final year of my science degree.

I was subsequently accepted into postgraduate degree Master of Pharmacy at University of Sydney where I completed two years professional training to attain a qualification to practice as an AHPRA registered Pharmacist.

I underwent further training at Monash Parkville Campus in Melbourne, achieving Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice with interests in Dermatology and Mental Health.

While getting my foot in the door in the pharmacy workforce I began studying Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery Postgraduate entry degree for four years, graduating in 2014 from Deakin University.

I completed my clinical years at the Ballarat Base Hospital.

At this stage I was also accepted onto the GP training program, however, with an avid passion for surgery I pursued a surgical residency term at Barwon Health Geelong Hospital, having the privilege to work with great surgeons and their respective teams, in all areas of general and specialized surgery.

Returning to complete the GP Fellowship training, I moved to Shepparton working with two great clinics Wyndham House Clinic then subsequently Kialla Medical Clinic. Along this journey I have undertaken small courses and training programs to become qualified in various areas of medicine.

In my free time I like to plan adventurous trips overseas, having an interest in exploring other cultures and cuisines and using this to rejuvenate my mind from daily routine. I enjoy searching out hidden cafes in the backstreets of the worlds coffee capital ‘Melbourne’ and the odd football or tennis match I can get to during the season. Mostly I enjoy sharing  these experiences with my patients through dialogue, as I see these as a valuable bonding moment between people.
